In 2002 the Across the Atlas team embarked on a quest to ski all 28 Colorado Resorts in less than four days. Against all odds (and good common sense), it completed the adventure in three days, four hours and 21 minutes, a Guinness world record that still stands today.
In 2007, the team was approached by Good Ski Guide magazine and the Current TV network to attempt a similar record in California ...ski all 28 California Resorts in four days or less.
After exhaustive training, meticulous planning, a treacherous storm, Herculean efforts by our crazy, determined team and four days, 10 hours and seven minutes—we set another Guinness world record.
This is our story. |
